Ellen Hajek is a teacher and professional writer. She received her B.S. in education from Nebraska State College at Peru and her M.A. in English from the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley. Following graduation, she taught in Nebraska, Iowa and Colorado public schools and was a part-time freelance writer. Currently, Ellen is teaching part-time and writing.
Ellen enjoys hiking, fishing and photography and just spending time at her home in Colorado with her sheltie dog, Ripley. She also enjoys frequent visits from her son Mike and his family, who live in the mountains.
Ellen earned inclusion in Who's Who of American Women 1997-98. To be chosen, candidates must have held positions of responsibility or have attained significant achievements in their fields.
